Privacy Policy

GarageIQ collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Short version: GarageIQ has no account, no analytics, and no server. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Full stop.

What we store, and where

Everything you enter — your vehicle details, oil and service logs, checklist progress, reminders, and the emergency card — is saved only in local storage on your own device. It never leaves your phone and we never see it. Deleting the app removes it.

What we don't do

No account or sign-in.
No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
No data sent to us or anyone else. The app works fully offline.

Notifications

If you choose to set a reminder, GarageIQ schedules a local notification on your device using iOS. These are created and delivered entirely on your phone; no reminder content is sent to any server.

Links to other sites

Some buttons open your browser to third-party sites (for example a YouTube search or the NHTSA recall lookup). Once you leave the app, those sites' own privacy policies apply. GarageIQ does not track which links you open.

Children

GarageIQ is a general utility rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
